Lofa Community College’s staff observes ‘Black Monday’

VOINJAMA, LOFA COUNTY, LIBERIA-Academic staff of the Lofa Community College in Voinjama, Lofa County, observed what they called ‘Black Monday’.

The Monday, January 17, 2022, action was in continuation of their ongoing go slow, which began on January 10, this year.

The group paraded the principal streets of Voinjama and presented a position statement to Superintendent William Kamba, for onward presentation to President George Weah.

The petition read by Varney Addy said:” The President of the College, Dr. Samuel Ngaima, is no longer working in the interest of the institution.”

Receiving the petition, Lofa County Superintendent Kamba promised the teachers that their concerns will reach the relevant authorities for appropriate actions.
