A 34-year-old woman arrested for allegedly ill-treating stepdaughter in Pipeline Community

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Police in Paynesville City has arrested a thirty-four-year old woman in the Pipeline Community, for allegedly brutalizing her step child.

Beatrice Gussin, the accused, reportedly tied up the minor’s hands at her back and beat her severely with a cane.

A school teacher, Michael Sarkpa, who rescued the girl and later reported the case to the police, said:” Beatrice also stripped the six years old naked during the torture.”

Beatrice has now been placed behind bars at the Pipeline Police Deport awaiting court trial.

Little Precious Logan explained that her father is in Nimba County, and she stays with her step mother in the Cook spoon Community in Pipeline.

Narrating in tears, Precious said she has been subjected to mal-treatment by her step mother on many occasions.
