Saint John Magisterial Court sends to court 13 persons…..

GRAND BASSA COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Saint John Magisterial Court in Grand Bassa County has sent to Court thirteen persons for their alleged involvement in the burning of the Saint John Police Station.

Angry crowd, on January 18, set the only police deport in the Saint John area ablaze, after they accused officers assigned there of pursuing a drug trafficker who jumped into the Saint John River and has since been presumed drowned.

The suspects, including five females and eight males, are charged with arson, criminal conspiracy and burglary.

ELBC Grand Bassa County Correspondent said:” The suspects have all denied their involvement in the violence.”

Meanwhile, Grand Bassa County Superintendent Janjay Baikpeh has commenced discussion with the missing alleged drug trafficker, to launch a search in and around the Saint John River.
