Gov. of Saudi Arabia Donates over 29,400 Bags of Rice to Liberian Gov.

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Government of Saudi Arabia has turned over twenty-nine-thousand-four-hundred bags of rice to the Liberian Government.

The rice valued at five-hundred-thousand US Dollars was donated by King Salman Humanitarian Foundation based in Saudi Arabia.

Speaking at the Foreign Ministry on Monday, April 3, 2023, the Head of the foundation, Faisal Al Zamil, said the donation is a humanitarian support to Liberia.

He added that the friendship between Liberia and Saudi Arabia will continue to be strengthened.

Receiving the rice, Foreign Minister Dee-Maxwell Kemayah, said:” The rice would specifically be given to would-be disaster victims and people living with vulnerabilities.”

Minister Kemayah lauded the King Salman Humanitarian Foundation and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the donation, describing it as timely.
