Liberia Revenue Authority Announces $16 Million in Revenue Collection

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Assistant Commissioner for Non-Profit Division at the Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA) has announced sixteen million United States Dollars in revenue collection, annually.

Mr. Eddie Howe said:” The money is being collected as a result of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) among the Ministry of Education, WAEC, and the LRA”.

The MoU entered some three years back allows for a task force comprising the three institutions to encourage school administrations to pay operation permit fees, remit taxes of their employees, and payment of WAEC fees.

Mr. Howe said the LRA will continue to engage the Ministry of Education and WAEC to accrue more revenue.

He spoke on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, on ELBC Education at Midweek.
