MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah says the Liberian Economy under his administration has improved in the last five years.

President Weah said:” This is evidenced by the influx of over forty-eight thousand Liberian-owned businesses and companies.”

He noted that due to improvements in the economy, several Liberians have been empowered and motivated to invest in meaningful ventures.

Speaking on Saturday, August 12, 2023, in District Six, the Liberian Leader said he remains committed to rebranding the country’s economy.

President George Weah then promised better job opportunities for young people if re-elected in the October 10 Elections.

At the same time, former Montserrado County District Six Lawmaker Edwin Snowe has rallied support for the second-term bid of President George Weah.

Senator Snowe said:” Residents of the district have benefitted from several developmental projects as compared to other districts in the county.”

The Lawmaker, who also formed part of President Weah’s campaign trail, said:” It is incumbent upon all residents of the district to sure gratitude by overwhelmingly re-electing the Liberian Leader.”

The Bomi County Senator described as unprecedented the construction of roads, schools, and markets in the district under the CDC-led administration.
