GRAND BASSA COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Campaign Spokesman of the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) Campaign Team says President Weah will defeat his rivals on the basis of his developmental track record.

Cllr. Kanio Bai Gbala said:” No political actor seeking the Presidency can match the developmental records of President Weah.”

Cllr. Gbala noted that President Weah’s transformation of the Grand Bassa County Community College into a full-fledged University, the construction of the first old folks home, the beautification of Buchanan Fair Ground, and the refurbishing of the Government hospital are unmatched achievements of the President.

He, however, called on the people of Grand Bassa County to vote for President Weah for his second term in the first round to save the country from unnecessary expenditure.

Cllr. Kanio Bai Gbala spoke over the weekend on a local radio station in Grand Bassa County.

Meanwhile, residents of District Four in Grand Bassa County want the Liberian Government to construct roads, learning, and medical facilities to foster development in the part of the country.

Mamie James and Moses Cooper said:” The absence of these facilities is impeding the living conditions of the people in Saint John and parts adjacent.”

They want Government to urgently intervene in transforming the only public elementary school into a high school, to academically prepare the future generation.

Speaking on the sideline of the citizens’ engagement, they said with the provision of these social needs, citizens’ lives will improve.

They have promised to support the re-election bid of President George Weah in ensuring that their requests are adhered to.
