MONROVIA, The ruling Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) says it has begun mobilizing massive turnout for its official campaign launch on Thursday, September 7 in Monrovia.

CDC Campaign Spokesperson, Cllr. Kanio Bai Gbala, said:” The program will bring together thousands of partisans, supporters, and well-wishers of the party.”

Cllr. Gbala made the disclosure Monday, September 4, 2023, via mobile phone on ELBC Super Morning Show.

The CDC Campaign Spokesperson also re-echoed that President George Weah remains the best choice for the country’s Presidency.

He said:” The Campaign Team remains upbeat about the first ballot victory of its Standard Bearer in the ensuing Presidential election, due to take place on October 10.”

At the same time, CDC Vice Chairman for Operations, Alvin Wesseh, said:” No amount of cheap propaganda from the opposition community will serve as a hindrance to the party’s quest for one round victory for President Weah.”

Mr. Wesseh described the opposition bloc as a distraction to the country‘s peace, through its several alleged rumors being spilled on social media.

He also maintained that the party is committed to violent-free, fair, and transparent elections during the electoral processes.

Mr. Alvin Wesseh boasted that the Liberian Chief Executive is optimistic of repeating the 2017 election’s result, based on his tangible development initiatives.

The CDC vice Chair for Operations made the assertions on Monday, September 4, 2023, during his appearance on the Super Morning Show.
