“Final Voter Registration Roll is void of duplication”-Mr. Zahn

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-National Elections Commission Head of Data says the 2023 Final Voter Registration Roll is void of duplication.

Mr. Isaac Zahn said:” The document will shortly be published at various polling places to ensure credibility and transparency of the process.”

Mr. Zahn noted that two-million-four-hundred-seventy-one-thousand-six-hundred-seventeen qualified voters are expected to participate in this year’s elections.

He is, however, cautioning Liberians against misinformation, as it has the propensity to undermine the credibility of the October 10 polls.

Mr. Isaac Zahn spoke on Thursday, September 22, 2023, on the ELBC Election Update program.

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the National Elections Commission (NEC), Davidetta Brown-Lansanah, says the Final Registration Roll for the October 10 Elections will be released soon.

Madam Browne-Lansanah said:” Currently, the NEC Technical Team is working to have the biometric voter roll placed in a secured format for distribution among all political stakeholders.”

She said the NEC Team of personnel is working on three shifts daily to ensure the final voter roll is printed and placed at each of the two-thousand-eighty voting precincts prior to election day.

Madam Browne-Lansanah emphasized that the Commission is not deterred by threats coming from individuals, but will work in line with the electoral procedures of the country.

The Elections Commission Head also disclosed that all stationary materials for the 2023 October 10 Presidential and Legislative Elections are in the country.
