JFK Medical Center Acknowledges China’s Assistance…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Officer-In-Charge of the John F. Kennedy Medical Center has praised China for its medical assistance to the Center.

Dr. Robert Dennis said:” Liberians remain grateful to China for the remarkable initiatives undertaken at the Hospital by its Medical Team.”

Dr. Dennis also noted that Liberia looks forward to continued collaboration between the Chinese Medical Team and the John F. Kennedy Medical Center.

Dr. Dennis was speaking on Tuesday, February 28, 2024, when the Chinese Medical Team donated several items to the JFK Medical Center in Sinkor.

The JFK Medical Center Officer-In-Charge thanked the Chinese Medical Team for the gesture.

Meanwhile, Chinese Ambassador to Liberia Yin Chengwu re-echoed China’s support for Liberia’s healthcare development.

Ambassador Yin said:” China stands ready to collaborate with the Government of Liberia to build sustainable healthcare for the citizens.”

Ambassador Chengwu described the donation made by China as a demonstration of China’s reaffirmation of support to the Country, adding that China has, over the years, supported Liberia’s Health Sector through the China-Aid program.
