MONROVIA, LIBERIA – Over US$ 3 Million worth of drugs and medical supplies have been given to two health facilities in Liberia.
The two health facilities benefiting are the John F. Kennedy Medical Hospital in Monrovia and the Agape Health clinic in Paynesville.
The donation of medical supplies came from the Liberia Medical Mission based in the United States, through the kind courtesy of Liberia Health Solution’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Dr. Phanta Soko Sackor.
Dr. Sackor added that the Mission’s goal is to ensure greater improvement on the Liberian people’s health conditions.
The presentation of the medical supplies was made Tuesday, Wednesday 4, 2020, by a Liberian Psychologist and Mental Health Team Leader, Dr. Williametta Simmons-Sonpon.
Dr. Simmons-Sonpon said: “The Liberia Medical Mission will in two weeks provide services to patients with high blood pressure, diabetes, mental health, among others as part of the Mission’s objectives to assist mental health-affected communities among others”.
The Mission was established in 2011.
