MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Movement for Economic Empowerment (MOVEE), is urging the Justice Ministry to fast-track investigation on the social media video released last week.

MOVEE wants the investigation uncover the perpetrators to allow them face the full weight of the law.

According to the Party, not only does the content of the video have the propensity to plunge the Country into chaos, it also presents a negative tag on Grand Gedeh County.

MOVEE’s position on the video was made by its new newly elected Chairman, Robert Sammie, at a news conference on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, in Monrovia.

Mr. Sammie said:” Politics should not be toxic but a contestation of ideology, where those in opposition would recommend policies to Government to be debated.”

Chairman Sammie added that going beyond the norms of decent politicking, and releasing such a video is an evil act intended to undermine the peace and security of the State.
