Police Steps up Investigation on Armed Attack on Former Chief Justice’s Home

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Deputy Police Inspector for Crimes Investigation says investigators have reached all parties in the case relative to the armed attack on the home of former Chief Justice, Gloria Musu Scott.

Colonel Prince Mulbah said:” Police have spoken to private security guards and contractors who were involved in the renovation work at Cllr. Scott’s residence.”

He said earlier that police investigators took statements from Cllr. Scott, including other occupants of the house, and that all parties are cooperating well.

Col. Mulbah also disclosed that on Monday, March 6, 2023, the police and all parties involved, including stakeholders, visited the crime scene in continuation of the investigation.

The Deputy Police Inspector for Crime Investigation called for international partners, stakeholders and civil society organizations to be a part of the investigation to bring credibility to the process.
