MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Deputy Information for Press and Public Affairs is cautioning the media to remain professional, as the country heads towards national elections.
Minister Jarlawah Tonpo said:” It is the responsibility of media practitioners to always report stories with the highest level of professionalism.”
Minister Tonpo said the media has the ability to maintain the peace of the country through their professional reportage.
He was speaking on Thursday, July 6, 2023, during MICAT’s regular Press Briefing.
Minister Jarlawah Tonpo added that society depends on the media for the right information, and not news stories that have the propensity to derail the peace of the country.
