Two Killed in Konia, Lofa County, over Election Results

Monrovia, Liberia – Calm has returned to Konia town in Zorzor district, Lofa County after the killing of two persons.

Dorboryan Kesselly, a supporter of the CDC and John Kolubah, a supporter of UP where pronounced dead by juries on Saturday, October 14.

According to our correspondent, both men got into a serious argument over the 2023 presidential election results.

Our Correspondent quotes eye witnesses as saying, Dorboryan Kesselly reportedly mobbed his friend John  Kolubah to death for claiming that his Standard Bearer, Joseph Boakai is the winner of the election and that nothing could change it.

Eye witnesses said the statement by John Kolubah, aggravated Dorboryan Kesselly thus causing him to commit the act.

Dorboryan Kesselly escaped the town after committing the act but was later captured and mobbed to death by an angry crowd.

Meanwhile, several persons were invited by police as persons of interest.

Our Correspondent said, this brings the number of electrons related deaths in the county to four.
