House of Rep. Sets Monday for Draft Nat’l Budget’s Deliberation

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The House of Representatives of Liberia has set Monday as the official date for the commencement of deliberations on the Draft National Budget of ever six hundred ninety-two million US Dollars.

The Ministries of Finance, Mines and Energy, Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA), and the National Port Authority (NPA) will appear to begin presentations at the Capitol.

The House Press and Public Affairs Director, Robert Haynes, said:” The hearings will focus on the revenue component of the Draft National Budget.”

Mr. Haynes added that heads of institutions will lead all presentations.

The 2024 Budget hearing will be jointly conducted by the Committee on Ways, Means, and Finance to fast-track its passage.
