The two African countries have also agreed to strengthen their relations which have already accrued political dividends over the years. According an Executive Mansion release issued over the weekend, Liberia’s reaffirmation was contained in the remarks by President George Weah when he received Letter of Credence from Egyptian Ambassador Ahmed El Azeem Zeinhom Farghaly on Friday, January 12, 2024. Earlier, Ambassador Ahmed El Azeem Zeinhom Farghaly thanked the Liberian Chief Executive for the warm reception accorded him since his arrival in the country.
